Icon? I like John Franco dude but that might be a little much. The bullpen is stronger without him - he's 43 and hasn't pitched at all this year

he should have joined the YANKEES he would have been a contender.Mariano Rivera is the best closer of all time.Franco has been a met for ever he should have just left the team and suck up all his pride to go else where.

I'll miss him but he wasn't that great.

Take care Johnny Franco... see you next season.

He's not really a legend but a solid guy in the clubhouse and a decent setup man. They didn't lose much.

Age definitely is catching up with him... now why doesn't that happy to Barry Bonds... for shame.
