The new Christopher Nolan is on its way out and I
think you should all go see it, even if it is a remake
of some norweigan movie.
If you arent firmiliar with Nolan, rent Momento.

Also, the new Spike Jonze is shooting for a summer
2002 release date, its called adaptation and should
be very very good, so look out for it.

btw i FINALLY saw spiderman, and was ctually kinda
dissapointed although it totally refueled my love for
dorks. the intelligence, the shyness... too cute. The
first five minutes was great, then he took off his
glasses, the cheesey dialogue started and it
became more or less about special effects. I think it
achived its goal of being like the comic book but I
dont know. Plus the ending was a lil weak, I mean
when hes fighting on the bridge and the *typical
new yorkers* start throwing and yelling, that was
the studios way of getting away with flying around
skyscrapers, I guess, but okay.

I figured it would be "Insomnia". Insomnia is actually a very good movie (available in the Criterion collection of DVDs) which I'm sure they'll have an extremely hard time recreating as the entire story relies upon the damn country of origin, lol.
