anyone collect action figures?

what do you do with them?....display them??..play with them?(yikes)

i have figures from Star wars, spiderman , X-men..etc....UNOPENED.....that i throw in a box and put in my closet.....

I collect Tomb Raider figures. I don't play with them or anything. I don't think I could imagine a way to play with them if I tried, which is kinda sad. I just display them on a shelf in my room.

I hate admitting this, but the he-man masters of the universe figures. They got re-issued about 6 months ago, and I couldn't help it. relics of my childhood. <P>

I have a ton. it's scary. I have shelves just loaded with X-men, wwf, LotR and star wars figures. I don't keep them in boxes, because I really have no intention of selling, and collecters who care about the packaging are too anal about it anyway, like one dent in the blister, and it might as well be opened, so forget that. I open them, put them together, stick em on a shelf, and dust them once in a blue moon.... so I'm a geek....

i still have a bunch of plastic dinosaurs, and i still have some Spawn action figures, and Predator. now the only things i collect are those new state quarters and shot glasses. i still have about a million matchbox/hotwheels cars to.

I have the Neo figure from the original Matrix action figure series. I left it in the box.

A good friend bought me the Gunnery Sergeant Hartman figure (Full Metal Jacket), for Christmas. I have left it in the box, but I do sleep with it like a 9 yr old girl with a Care Bear.

I'm a HUGE fan of G.I. Joe. That was my favorite cartoon growing up, and my favorite toy as a child, and to this day I still collect the merchandise....which includes the action figures. It's really cool for Joe collectors, since they're releasing new figures now.

And I'm thinking of picking up the new sculpts for the He-Man toys.

I'm basically into anything 80s.
