i used to absolutely love these books when i was younger. i would read them over and over, choosing different things each time so that i would see how all the different stories went. anyone else read them?
i wonder why they dont have them for adults...

jesus arienetee did you go to school in my town, we like all the same things.
my favorite was target:earth. it starts when you are fishing in a lake and see a spaceship or something. there were these spree aliens and it was just cool.
the best was looking through a book and reading endings you never came across and be like how the fuck do you get there? i would always hold my page just in case i ended up dying. i guess it's cheating but it was fun as hell.

The vicious dog took the bone and ran away. You're now in the hotel lobby with the desk clerk.
If you ask the clerk who's checked in, turn to <a href="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/loggedin.cfm">page 5</a>.
If you step into the revolving door, turn to <a href="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=73&Topic=12259">page 9</a>.

i love these. i think they were my precursor to my roleplaying obsession. my favorite ones were "the cave of time" or "journey to the center of the atom"
