i would like to see spider man but im sure the Star Wars Coalition will pay to see episode 2 numerous times a day throughout the week, so episode 2 will probably make more money.

It's a tough call...there are just as many Star Wars geeks as there are Webheads out there...but odds are the the Clones will edge out everyone's friendly neighborhood wallcrawler. Personally, I'd rather see Spidey than watch the Star Wars franchise further deteriorate. <P>

well since episode 1 was a little disapointing and i cant stand that freaking jar jar binks character...i will see episode 2 due to the fact that i am a fan of the entire star wars story....but i will see episode 2 as a matiness ..you know half price ticket..but spiderman i am willing to pay full price to see it....but i think episode 2 will make the most moeny due to the fact of the enormous amount of following it has had over the last 25 years

we all know that the star wars geeks will be seeing the movie like 10 times in one day.i am all about the spider ill watch any movie that has to do with a marvel character.

I'm a huge star wars fan. No big secret. E1 was a mediocre children's movie with a really, really annoying character. But it still become a top 5 grossing movie. Time, Newsweek, AICN, etc. are all saying this is a stronger, darker movie. If it really is that much better, E2 will be up there too.

There's just no way that Spiderman will do that, unless it somehow reaches out to teen audiences that will see it multiple times.

Lucas still has legions of brainwashed fans who will make Episode 2 a success. That scumbag put out a horrible piece of shit with Episode 1, and it STILL made something like 400 million domestic.

I'll watch Spiderman over Episode 2, but I think I'm in the minority here in that I think the Spiderman film looks REALLY cheesy and campy.

Green Goblin wears an armored costume

Spiderman will do better I think because the buzz has been nothing but great on that movie. E2 has had rumors like NSYNC and the return of jjbinks so that hasn't helped. I will watch both and enjoy them. By the way Scorpion King sucked major ass. Don't bother!

now wait, i'm a huge spidey fan, have been for decades, but let's face it, a geneticlly enhanced spider makes more scense than a radioactive one. They didn't have a concept of genes in the early 60's. I'm glad they brought spiderman into the 21st century.

Isnt startwars getting kind of repetative after 134,242,412 movies? And the names are stupid, "obi-won", "jengo fett", "pooper mcgee", where do they come up with this stuff. Lucas needs to just come out with Star Wars: the Final Episode. All "good things" must come to an end sometime.
