The furture was already gogin to happen cause the first one it happend The second one was form a alternit furture where the robot parts made it more advanced (so is my idea)

If the terminator did in fact die in that lava bolw there never would have been a T1. So he didn't die. Remember the future was has still to take place. I think that's what this T3 installment is for. Then again I could be wrong.
