stp at the hammerstein

so i went last night to the stp show at the hammerstein ballroom, and i just had to voice my appreciation - they rocked so hard. it was such a great show. they sounded amazing, and scott is just super entertaining (not to mention oh so hot) with his dancing and posing and running around. one thing i really liked was that they played mostly songs from the older albums (including 5 off of core!), not trying too hard to just promote the new stuff. and it didn't hurt that they opened the show with a cover of shine on you crazy diamond.

was anyone else at this thing?

I thought about going but talked myself out of it. I'm really into seeing the right band at the right time. In my mind that time's passed for STP. I really stopped listening to them right after Tiny Music.. I just thought it would be all about their latest CD trying to sell more product.

Judging from your review, I was wrong. Now I'm mad that I didn't go!
