View Full Version : Why This Old "Black Sabbath" Fan Hates "The Osbournes"

Okay, let me first say that I have been a fan of Sabbath since the 70's and that they were my favorite band as a kid. Now back to "The Osbournes".
The premise is funny, I give them that. Seeing a middle-aged burnt out rockstar interacting with his family is funny. But, I find it to be a one joke show and to be honest, I find it boring and staged. It's obvious that the family is playing to the camera, and seeing my rock idol portrayed as a buffoon annoys me. A one hour special? Maybe. A series, where the family appears on "Regis" and "Rosie" to plug it? Repulsive. Now the family wants 10 million bucks to do a second season. It's all a pathetic joke, and seeing Ozzy laughed at is just sad.
Just my opinion folks.

What i don't understand is shouldn't Ozzy already be a multimillionare? What the fuck how does he still not have enough money? Don't get me wrong I love the guy, love the show, love music but why is he still doing it all?

The show will help sell his album catalog, concerts and everything else, I am fully aware f that. I am just sickened when I see Rosie and others doing Ozzy impressions and making him the talk of the town. He's now mainstream, but in a very bad way. Sad.

I do like the show, although it seems to be on all the time. They will kill it that way. I don't like the fact that he's doing all these talk shows. I guess he might as well get as much money and good publicity as he can. I just hope he never becomes the center square on Hollywood Squares.
