i've finally seen the trailor for it! and even though it seems slightly amusing, i wouldn't spend ten bucks to see it. i'll wait till it comes out on video.

i heard that they where working on a jason-vs-freddy kruger what happened to that idea?

They're (studio execs) waiting to see the response to this movie first and if it does well at the box office they will green light the Jason vs Freddy movie. It's in this month's issue of Cinescape. I'll go see this move.

I've already seen a screener copy of it this movies is a LOT of fun. A twenty million dollar Jason movie in outter space. If you're a fan of Friday the 13 th at all, you will like this movie.

It seems like they were just desperate for a movie idea. I will wait to see it until i can rent it at Blockbuster. Besides,i never saw it, but i thought Jason died in "Jason Goes to Hell". Did anyone see that movie, how did he die in it?

And about that Jason vs Freddy thing, Jason is much stronger then Freddy and i dont think Jason dreams, or sleeps, so its obvious who will win that fight. Jason vs Mike Myers would be a better fight.

This would definitely be awesome. I'd have to go with Jason. He just seems a bit bigger and a machete beats a butcher knife any day. Don't get your hopes up... this combo is an impossibility since Michael Myers got his head chopped off by Jamie Lee Curtis at the end of H20. I guess they could twist the plot and have some wacko doctor sew his head back on, thus causing him to come back to life, but that would make the movie ridiculous...

Here's the thing with this movie that I can't figure out from the trailer (and maybe someone can explain it to me). Why does it matter that the antagonist is Jason? What does it have to do with the other movies? Couldn't it just be Random Psycho Killer X? Or is the whole premise a tool to try and get asses in the seats?

Whenever you've run out of ideas for your horror franchise, shoot your psychopath/creature/what have you into space...this movie is gonna suck balls. I don't care how big a fan you are of the Jason movies...there is no reason that he should be in space.

I enjoy slasher movies- Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare, etc., but this premise is horrible. Just suck the bastard who masterminded this thing out an airlock.

Yeah im seeing it, the horror fanatic that i am. PLUS its an old school slasher series , they always rock, movies like jeepers creepers suck though.

The minute my friends and I saw the trailer for Jason X we started laughing our balls off. It's so god damn stupid, but I'm just a teenager that wouldn't know a good movie if I saw it...so I'll probably see it for a goof if I have nothing better to do.

that makes no sense. he was decapitated, how could he still be alive?? or was the person she decapitated not really mike myers it was someone mike paid to pretend it was him? they need to learn when to end a saga, the Jason people didnt now the Halloween people didnt, at least the Freddy people did.

I didn't want to see this movie, but a friend wanted to see it, so we did a scorpion king/jason x double feature. It's sad to say that jason x was better than scorpion king. It has some funny lines. but i still wouldn't pay to see it.

Yes, probably the funniest single scene of any movie i've seen this year. Second funniest would be the nazi scene in death to smoochie.

I thinks it's obvious theres gonna be 13 of these Jason movies and that means they have 3 more to make before they're finished with this series. Part 11 from what i hear could be Jason vs Freddie. SO what about part 12? I was thinking after 11 ends Jason and freddie team up against the team of Micheal Myers and some of those Vampires from Salems lot. if they cant come up with a partner for Myers that is as popular as the other 3 guys, maybe they could have a "every man for himself" style movie where each guy gets double teamed throughout the movie. Then for part 13 he goes back in time and works in a nazzi camp or some shit???
