I believe the 1968 version is still the best film version of it.

I seen a couple and I think the Leonardo DiCaprio/Claire Daines was the best. They kept the story the same and changed the timeperiod.

i like the 1968 version, we watched it in English class last year, and there was that one part where juliet got out of bed real quick and you saw her boobies, that was the best part, we watched that in school, they were nice boobies. great movie.

I'm a big fan of the Baz Lerman version (Claire & Leo). Its not only true to the dialouge & story line, but there are awesome f'n gunfights (like at the gas staition) & the sound track has one of the most amazingly romantic songs of all time (Des'ree's "Kissing You")

Bah, screw Leo and Li, give me TROMEO & JULIET anyday...That's right, the lovely filmmakers at Troma made their own version, complete with lesbianism and piercing and cursing :)

It's pretty fucked up.
