I just bought Lawrence of Arabia on DVD. And to me, this may be the most visually stunning movie of all time, almost hypnotic. I only wish I could of seen it on the big screen. Does anybody have a movie, or scene that stands out visually?
Cake or Death? Uh, I'll have the cake please.

There's "The English Patient". But there was a lesser-known film by Tony Bui "Three Seasons", filmed entirely in Vietnam. It's got Harvey Keitel as the only American in the film. The cinematography is outstanding. As is another Vetnamese movie called "Scent of Green Papaya", although the story is very slow in this one. I love it though.

There's a scene in Apocolypse that blew me away. Theres a VC in the distance, and you hear him yelling. A soldier fires a grenade launcher into the air, you hear an explosion in the distance and then silence. The really cool part is that it's totally dark and you only see people's outlines moving around

Then again there was that scene in "Murder at the Super Bowl" where Fezz got shot. The camera angles were just amazing
