Being from Brooklyn builds character Skull.Most of the people on this board are from the suburbs, and the only problem they encounter is what time the mall closes.
In Brooklyn, we see everything..rats, crackheads, crime scenes, fast food places with bulletproof windows and Guiliani.

Queens has some scary places.
One time I was in Jackson Heights and I heard what I thought were fireworks going off. I later learned that it was gun shots, and 2 drug dealers were killed. Maybe next time I'll duck.
