In vino veritas

<marquee>There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man. </marquee>

We had one of those real basic tennis/ping-pong things (stop laughing it was the 1970's). It had two dial knobs on the console that moved the 'rackets' (really a green line) along the length of the 'court'. I remember at the time thinking it was pretty lame (which it was). <P> After that we got an Intellivision. This thing was like Atari but it had a more limited game selection (although some of the games were cooler then the Atari stuff). The problem with it was that the controllers had soft-buttons, the kind that after a few months of heavy use become stuck and unusable. <P>

Atari 2600 was my first system, and I actually bought one like two months ago at the comic book shop I frequent. I payed like 30 bucks for the system the controllers and 70 games. I relive my childhood on that thing at least once a week

NES. And from that point on, I became a video game junkie. I own almost every domestic console (that's my ultimate goal, then I'll move on to the Japanese versions): <P> - Intellivision - Super Video Arcade - NES - SMS - Gameboy - Gameboy Color - Gameboy Advance - Game Gear (both colors) - Genesis (2nd & 3rd models) - 32x - Playstation (original model) - PSone - PS2 - Dreamcast (waste of money) - Super Nintendo - Nintendo 64 - Virtual Boy - Sega Nomad <P> I may own a lot of systems, but my true love of gaming is the NES, it was the first system I've owned and it grew on me as a kid. I wonder how many hours I spent staring at the TV. <P>

I had a Vectrex, which was made by NEC. It had it's own TV.

CAPTAIN - We had Pong too! Then Atari and Colecovision. When the Apple 2 came along, it ushered in the golden age of video gaming.

Anyone remember Adventure, Collosal Cave, or Zork? And who could possibly forget Flloyd, your lovable robot companion in Planetfall?
