I heard this a week or so ago, but I got confirmation on it from Meltzer from the WO.

For those of you (like me) who maybe don't have a satellite dish and / or don't get Galavision, you'll still be able to see some of that fantastic lucha libre action!

Starting this Saturday at 5 p.m. Eastern time, lucha comes to the nationally syndicated Telemundo channel!

Telemundo, which is in most major markets in the U.S., will be starting a wrestling show (tapings were Saturday night in Dallas using AAA talent but being called LLL which legit sold out the Bronco Bowl) which debuts on Saturday night at 5 p.m. Eastern time. (thanks to Joe Perez)


I hope Pirata Morgan or Texano appear. Fat rudos ROCK!!!

Wow, thanks Se7en. That's both good news and bad news.

The good news is, we who don't get Galavision can <i>finally</i> get some wrestling on our TV that isn't fucking WWF, without spend money for tapes.

The bad news is, it's not EMLL. AAA really has been craptacular lately. Even still, it's better than Vince's freakshow.

Now, to get some Toryumon or NJPW on my cable system...

Yeah, I know. I'm no expert on lucha, but from what I've seen and heard, EMLL is usually very good to great. Still, it's something different, and it's good exposure to the lucha style on national scale (I may be mistaken, but I think Telemundo is on more markets than Galavision...it's at least on basic cable as opposed to satellite). And I must admit a guilty pleasure to Los Vipers.

The show which debuts tomorrow, will run on 4/13 and 4/20. It's supposed to be a pilot, hopefully for a new TV show. If you want results, you can view them here:
