Doesn't Bad news and Mets Fan go hand in hand?

Try being a Red Sox fan.

You expect, at best, a second place finish in the AL East, Mets fans rub in 1986, and Yankees fans rub in 1918.

At least I'm not a Cubs (1908) or White Sox (1917) fan I suppose...

I don't usually treat Met fans but in your case I'm willing to make a deal. I pay for the tickets. You pay for the dogs and beer. Did I say beer? I meant Beer!

doesnt shock me ...maybe its just me as a mets fan to notice this...but every year the mets always always give us these injuries or to us fans we get ulcers...I mean every freaking year they give a good run and always make me curse at the tv and jump in joy...i know i get an ulcer by the end ofthe season when they are right there on a win and to get in the playoffs and they make me go nuts..so this injury does not shock me...hell i still gotta believe

Get a grip Mets fans. It's only 8 GAMES INTO THE SEASON! We still got another 154 to go. There are going to be injuries, guys are going to go on the DL, it happens! It's baseball. Get a grip.

And please notice how well the staff has been pitching. Estes just pictched a gem this afternoon in the 3-2 win over the cubs, and the Weathers has been fantastic. D'amico pitched well, so did Lieter, and the offense will follow up given time.

Now if we can just hold onto the baseball and not make any more errors, the Mets will be fine. And winning 2 out of 3 from the Braves was HUGE for a team that can never beat the Braves. Don't give up yet. There's a long way to go.
