talking to my friend Dave he told me that him and
his girlfriend of 8 months had recently proclaimed
their love for eachother outloud to eachother. he
also told me he had been feeling love for her awhile
before he actually said it, about two months or so.
my question is, why do guys told in their feelings
like that? Is it just being scared that the girl wont
return the fee

becuase, too most people those are words not to be "just said" or taken lightly.
in the beginnings of a relationship it is easy to mix up true love for what may simply be puppy love.
That is when guys (and girls) drop the L-bomb, they are very cautious of it, and want to make sure they just aren't overwhelmed with the emotions and lust of a new relationship.

There is nothing more exhilerating than pointing out the shortcomings of others, is there?

2 reasons:
one is we are scared that if we say we love a girl it might scare her away.
the other is that the chick might not be into the guy that much, but they might not have the same feelings but won't say anything to the guy, and just sting him along for months having the guy think he is the greatest thing ever, but she really loaths him and wishes for his death...
...sorry, went on a vent there :)

i think its cause being scared for the rejection or feeling not being returned.

I am neber afriad to tell anyone I love them...I tell it to my closest friends and family all the time...however when it comes to someone who touches my heart I am VERY sure what I feel is love and not just some infatuation. When I say it I am not only saing the word love, but I know in MY heart at that moment..that woman is the most important person in my life and I would die for her if it meant her life. Sorry...did not mean to get sappy, I usually do not have a forum for this.
