'78 Yankees...14 games out...people had them dead in the water. One game playoff in Boston...Bucky Dent...I'll stop now

The 1969 Mets, and that's coming from a Yankee fan.
It was a magical season, and in my opinion nothing comes close.

When i was a kid, the '86 mets were awsome. I was, am, and always will be a yankees fan, but the '86 Mets season was pretty cool. (and hey, they beat the Red Sux, always a good thing)

The 1973 Mets were exciting, especially when Pete Rose beat up Bud Harrelson and the fans went nuts, throwing bottles on the field. Willie Mays went out to calm the crowd.
My alltime fave is the 78 Yankees and Bucky Dent's homer..beating the Sox is like beating the Taliban.
