CYYYFYYY stole my thunder but its all true. Nova vs. Hurricane... battle of the superheros, oh where are you Black in Blue Blazer ;)

But Nova still has the Novacaine and flies through the air almost as good if not better than RVD or Jeff Hardy.

The Novacaine(Stolen by edge but he stopped doing it)
The Sledge-o-matic
The Kryptonite Crunch.

A dozen other moves I never got the names of.

Nova is probably the single most inovative and explosive wrestlers out there and if it's true he will be the base to rebuild the light heavyweight/Cruiserweight division.

It's about time Nova's getting his chance. Honestly, the WWF should have brought him in when they brought Stevie Richards and the Blue Meanie in together, the bWo would have torn shit up <at least for us ECW fans>.

THANK GOD!! Right before ECW went under Nova was slated to be a major player and then bang. Now more ECW. No more Nova. I hope WWF gets their thumbs outta their asses and snatches up some of ECW's HEALTHY talent. And as far as finishers go: Two words for you "Kryptonite Krunch"

Sorry, Hosp, gotta disagree.

What Nova did was steal a bunch of moves done in Japan, and name them after himself. Then he went around claiming he invented them, and more.

Nova may be a decent wrestler, but as an innovater, he's the Howard Stern of pro wrestling. He claims to have invented it all, hoo hoo hoo.

think you guys are vastly over rating him........

I addmit I'm a little biased because I like the guy and I have had a couple of nice conversations with him. But I always found him exciting and entertaining.

You know way too much about Japanese wrestling. How many tapes do you own?

And the only over-rated wrestler I've seen recently was American Dragon. What a waste of time. He had a couple of nice submission moves but he was barely average at everything else.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he sucks or anything. I haven't seen him outside of ECW, but I HAVE seen lots of his work in ECW, and I like him too. He's not bad at all. And maybe he's a great guy in person, I don't know.

I'm just saying, I don't really think he invented all of the moves he says he did. But he certainly wouldn't be the first wrestler to do that. I mean, Scott Steiner always tried to pass off the frankensteiner as his creation, and I don't hold it against him.

You know way too much about Japanese wrestling. How many tapes do you own?

I know a bit. Probably more than the average wrestling fan, but I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as the really hardcore puro fans out there.

I haven't really counted my tape collection. It is pretty big. ;)

Do wrestling fans actually care who invented what? As long as a move looks cool I think most fans could give a rats ass about who invented it.

i've known Nova personally for 10
years now, and i cant think of a
more deserving guy to get a shot
in the WWF. the last 2 years he
has really stepped up his game,
got in phenominal shape, and
even with the demise of ECW,
this last year he has wrestled in
Japan, England, Alaska,
Austrailia, Trinidad and just about
everywhere in between, and had
awesome matches with RVD,
Jerry lynn, and Eddy Guerrero.
There is no one i know of today
in the business that has
dedicated themselves to
wrestling as Nova has.

as for the "innovation" thing, it's
a gimmick that was created for TV
because Nova uses moves that
are rarely seen here in the US,
and it was great way to get him
over. I do know for a fact that
alot of moves that Nova started
using here first did get picked up
by the Bigger 2 feds workers (
Edge and Kanyon especially).
Nova doesn't sit around and
claim he invented everything he
uses, but a guy has to get pissed
a bit when moves that no one
else was using suddenly started
appearing on raw and Nitro after
you used them on an ECW show.

If you guys are Nova fans,
Phoenix Championship Wrestling
is holding 2 farewell shows for
nova the weekend of may 17th
and 18th.

The Show on the 17th is in Toms
River NJ ( nova's legit
hometown), and will feature
Nova and Frankie kazarian
(Evolution) defending the PCW
tagbelts against the Ballard Bros.
( if Evolution retains the belts,
the Titles will go up for grabs in a
tourney next month) , Plus Jerry
Lynn vs little Guido, and PCW
Champ Harley lewis vs The Wall.
Also appearing will be some
Suprise ECW stars to send Nova
off in the proper fashion.

The next night, may 18th, PCW
will be in Jersey City, Nj in which
the main event will be Nova vs
Jerry Lynn with a 1 hour time
limit, this is a rematch from last
month where they fought to a
draw. Also on the card will be
frankie kazarian vs TV champ,
The prodigy Tom marquez,
Gangrel vs leather face, Luna,
Gillberg, and the Wall, plus many
more.
