I own a Yamaha 4 string bass guitar and a Fender BXR sixty amp. I jam along with my little boss drum machine. I prefer my bass distorted. I like that Sepultura sound.

Tall_James, I'm with you! I play a little ( I have a Fender/ acoustic )..but I don't take requests at Parties!!!

I'm better at the piano, but I love the guitar, and may start lessons again.

I have a Silvertone Classic Acoustic which I found in the garbage when I was a kid. When I was 15, I decided to learn how to actually play the thing, so I refurbished and redesigned it. It's a total piece of shit and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I also have a Carlo Robelli electric which I've ruined by covering it with WWF stickers and a Brownsville 10G amp. They're all crap, but if my house was engulfed in flames, I'd grab them and let granny burn. <P>

This thread makes me SO happy.

Not only am I a guitar fanatic, but I also am teaching myself to build guitars. I have one homemade Telecaster already and I plan on my next guitar to be a Les Paul Jr. body style. I love when my friends leave a guitar with me to be fixed or set up. I even do it at no charge since I love doing it so much.

In fact, for anyone that would like a set up or needs some minor repair, I fully offer my services. No payment required.

Of course if you want to get me stoned or buy me a six pack or something, hey, that's like just a "tip".

Feel free to email or IM me with any questions.

I have an acoustic and barely know how to play.
I can play piano and was told that since I know the
notes and wat not, i should be able to play guitar
easily- but its VERY not easy for me. If anyone
wants to give me free lessons id be willing to learn
