When you use up all your toothpaste you go out and get another one. So what are we going to do when we're done using up all of or planet's resources? We go to another planet! Question is which planet do we go to and why? I was going to say Mars but that planet is no longer en vogue so I'll say
Jupiter:
1. Lots of colors
2. Biggest planet ever! (Size matters! Ladies back me up)
3. With all that gas, there's gotta be a Taco Bell up there!
4. Only one hurricane and since it's big and red, we'll see it coming!!!!!
5. Last but certainly not the least it has 28 moons!!!!!
I love space
:)

Did you ever see that movie "Silent Running"? It was a very cool '70s sci-fi flick starring Bruce Dern. Earth's resources had run out and they sent the remaining forests into space.
I believe that when things really start to get low down here, martial law will be imposed upon the forests and natural resources (like in the movie Soylent Green) and space will become a real option finally because there will be no other choices.

i think we should build a giant space station and just send teams to rape the other planets resources and bring them back to us. enough of this bound by gravity flat ground crap. then we can have our giant space station move all over the universe like a giant cruise ship, just stopping at ports along the way. <P>

I don't think I'd like living on Jupiter. A day is about 10 hours, a year is 12 earth years, and the gravity is over 2 1/2 times that of Earth. Also, the atmosphere is poisonous, mostly ammonia and methane (yep, that's gas alright).
