and saw Panic Room and Death To Smoochy.
Panic Room = Good and scary
Death To Smoochy = Disturbing masterpiece

Death To Smoochy = Disturbing masterpiece

ooh, really? Death to smoochy was good? I saw Panic room, thought it was ok, better than a lot of recent movies.... but there hasn't been a good dark comedy (besides Royal Tannenbaums) in a long time, hopefully they're making a comeback.
I'll have to check out Smoochy soon....

I enjoyed both movies immensely. Panic Room wasn't scary at all, it just kept you in suspense and it made you want to bitch slap the girl in all those scary movies who did the stupidest thing by going to see where the noise is coming from. Death to Smoochy was pretty funny. It wasn't non-stop laughter for me, but the story line was kept it interesting and by the end of the movie, I just wanted to go rent some Romper Room videos. ;)

sorry if this is off topic, but.. i went to the movies yesterday, too. i saw in the bedroom. it was a really amazing movie, so well acted, incredibly depressing and disturbing. it's definitely worth seeing

Today I saw The Rookie
Not bad but not great
Wait till the video
I was getting a kick out of all the kids running around the theatre and their parents yelling at them to sit down.
