I run out of ideas rather quickly and I can't seem to find something to do when I go out with someone. What do you do?

I went on a first date with this guy who rented a plane and flew me around New York. Now that's impressive!

But......if that's not possible maybe going skydiving, rollerblading, or maybe a pottery class? There is this place in New York that allows you to make whatever you want and all that nonsense in a matter of hours...I would like that.

but also its not the big flashy things that can do the work also the little things can be better

god i suck at dating, it's alot of movies and diner food and shooting pool. but here is a tip for a first date, DO NOT bring him/her to hang out with your close friends, cause they will do nothing but make things worse, i have found this out the hard way several times.

Wanna fight?

i think the first date should be the classic dinner & a movie. It gives time for the two to get to know eachother.

The second date is the time to do something unique.

I always use dinner and a movie for a second date, during a movie you really can't talk to the girl. Try even something simpler, walk in the park or during the summer a walk on the beach. That gives you a chance to get to know her better. If you want to take her to try, if she likes art, a museum, a ball game, a comedy club....find out what she likes to do then go from there.

Mira- I hope your pilot was careful about drinking for that date. I think the rules are still 12 inches from bottle to throttle...

er uh, I mean hours.

I don't think she'll(or at least i'm assuming its she, sailor) expect each date to top the next. eventually you run out of money and funds.

But I know what you're saying. Wow'em first, so they think you're a fun date.

I just like to get to know them a bit first, to see if they warrent a second date.

Are you currently with someone or just asking in general? It all depends what the person is like (as is the case in most instances), but if you're asking for a current person you're interested in, give an idea of what they're into and people could give some suggestions.

go to eagle rock lookout in west orange, and have a picnic, sounds corny but it has a great view of the city, and you can screw on the grass without anyone bothering you. I have had plenty of memories there and it has always been a great dateing place.

Comedy clubs are less expensive in the middle of the week. Find one and do that! Now that the weather's getting nicer, there's a ton of stuff to do-- parks, musuems, exhibits and just walking around the SoHo and Village areas are so much fun. It's not always about how much money you spend and if it WERE, do you really want to spend your time with such a shallow individual that will never be satisfied with you??? Yuck!

A whole bunch of bunchies!

Jane-it's funny that you should mention comedy clubs because I've been doing stand up and that goes either way. you go to a good comedy club with good comics and your set stinks, you look bad to the person you're with. I don't want to take someone with me though to my "gig."

HUGS!!

During a date I like to do something that the other person likes to do. I am the worst person on a date...I dont talk....I listen like a fucking zombie...If I do waht another personlikes to do...they talk more...and end up leading the conversation so's all I have to do is nod and agree like a dumbfuck.
