So, my father and I decided to go to the auto show.
Parking was ridiculous. 35 bucks near the Javits. We parked about 5 blocks away and knocked it down to 20.
WNEW's van was there, but no Kimmy, Earl, or Matt in sight.
Place was crowded, but not OVERLY so.
Coolest concept cars: Saturn's, Cadillac's, and Chrysler's. The Jeep Compass concept was cool too, but it kinda looked like a squashed Liberty.
Worst concept: Ford's concept truck. It looked like a fucking Lego truck.
I saw the mini and thought of Poot. I also saw the Urkel car, and snapped a picture of a fat guy trying to squeeze into it. FUNNIEST PIC EVER IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S NOT ME
The car models, save "Jen" at the Subaru displays weren't that good looking.
Hummer H2 was pretty cool... smaller version of the Hummer. Still wouldn't buy it.
HUGE line to check out VW's Eurovan for some reason.
I was pissed that VW didn't put their SUV concept on display.
Ford's display was weird as hell. Four Mustangs, plus a Mach 1, but only one T-Bird in an awful baby blue color.
Scariest display: Buick. One model (female) would start a sentence during the presentation, and then the other model (male) would finish it. It's hard to describe, but it was creepy as hell.
Chevy. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
Oh sorry, what was I saying?
The Mitsubishi Montero concept was a nice design. Mitsubishi also had X-Boxs at their display. Quite nice.
Overall, a fun waste of three hours. Still don't know what I want to buy when my truck's lease is up.
If anyone wants to see pics, let me know.
Z.
