I think I'm the only person in history who has seen this movie. I have it on DVD and I love it, but none of my other friends have seen it.

In vino veritas
There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man.

"Suicide Kings" is a darkly comedic thriller about the strength of friendships and depths of deceit. Looking for a two million dollar payday, kidnappers target LISA CHASTEN, the daughter of a wealthy New York industrial magnate. But when efforts by her father and police to find her and pay off the ransom fail, her brother AVERY and his friends, MAX, TK, and BRETT frantically set out on their own mission. Working on the assumption that to find the criminals they need the best criminal, the friends forcibly "enlist" the assistance of New York Mafia capo CARLO BARTOLUCCI (CHARLES BARRETT) to aid in their search.
The boys risk their own untimely demise when they stage a harrowing kidnapping of the Mafia capo. With their own captive now firmly in tow, the boys drive to a summer home owned by the parents of their friend, IRA. They then begin to execute their plan and force CHARLES into contacting his associates to help locate the missing girl and put up the two million dollar ransom. Bound and bleeding, Charles makes contact with associates MARTY and LONO who set out to learn the whereabouts of Lisa while trying to locate their kidnapped capo.
A comedic twist lightens up the drama when Ira shows up and finds his friends with a gun to the head of the powerful gangster, who is obviously in pain and bleeding profusely from a wound inflicted on him by his captors.
The story punches into high gear when Marty confirms that Lisa is in danger and he informs Charles that the girl's kidnapping was helped by an "insider." Armed with that knowledge, Charles begins a mind game that starts to pit one friend against the other until each in the group is unsure who he should trust. As their simple plan begins to unravel, fear, desperation and greed prove that friendships and loyalty are not always what they seem. Adding further complications are the conflicting personal weaknesses of each character and though their intentions may be honorable, the outcome could be deadly.

Krauts, they know how to build 'em.
On the DVD, I like the director's commentary because it is so informal unlike other DVDs. The alternate endings are cool, but I wish I could hear the audio.

Leary is great in the film.
without a doubt one of the best jay mohr films out there, then again that's comparing it to Mafia! and Cherry Hill, or Cherry Creek or whatever that awful horror movie he did with Brittney Murphey, and atleast in Suicide Kings he didn't have to wear a dress
