There are certain songs that, when you have them on while driving in your car, it makes it feel like you're on your way to something important, that you're part of some grand scene in some movie, instead of just going to the store because you ran out of toilet paper.

My personal favorite would be <b>The Pixies' "Where Is My Mind?"</b>

I don't know what it is, maybe the association with the final scene in "Fight Club", but more probably the awesome guitar, this song just makes me feel like Mr. Rutherford B. Is The Shit.

There are a couple of songs that accomplish this goal for me...one is "Leaving Las Vegas" by Sheryl Crow. That song is like a liberating experience...
The other is "Such a night" from the King baby (Hunka hunka burning love)
