In my house, Nestle's Quick.
My best friend drank Bosco by the gallon. Ovaltine was always awful.
Wow, this is a profound question. :)

Tazz, my parents hid the Hershey's syrup. I would suck on that like I was breastfeeding.

Bosco in the early years, then Nestles Quick...
I thought Ovaltine was cool, had more of a malted taste...maybe it said "malt" on the label, not sure?

We used them all at one time or another, Ovaltine, Nestle's Quik, Hershey's Syrup and (rarely) Bosco. We also had the strawberry flavored Quik once in a while too. <P>

It's cheap Tupperware.

We used to use Bosco when we were real little. Then quick and strawberry quick.

Now hersheys syrup. Do they still make bosco.

We want Ron and Fez live in DC.

Back in the day I used to make it with Ubets, I remember trying to pour the syrup from the jar into my tall glass and missing half the time, then my mother would yell at me for either not cleaning up my mess or not cleaning off the jar cause it was so sticky

In vino veritas

There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man.

In our house, it was usually Hershey's, but Grandma was a big believer in Bosco. Loved 'em both.

Once in a while, Carnation Malted Milk Powder would make an appearance, and that was always a SUPER treat!

I have such fond memories of afterschool snacks with Nestle's Quik powder. Getting a big tablespoon full, plunging it into a tall clear glass of ice cold milk. But I wouldn't stir it...yet. I'd pull the spoon back out of the milk, and the chocolate would still be on it, surrounded by a thin wet coating of milk. The milk would slowly slide off, followed by a layer of powder. I'd repeat the action until all the chocolate was off the spoon, and then i'd stir. Oh--and then I'd drink it.

OK I admit it I crapped in the milk. I was young and foolish.
Why won't you let me live that down? Damn you all:)

Nestle's (the powder). Then it became the Hershey's squeeze bottle.

as a little kid there was always the hershey's in the tiny metal cans. i loved just pouring the chocolate sauce into my mouth. now, it's either nestles' quik or hershey's in the squeeze bottle.

... look what i just done said ...
