I love the man's music and talent, but I cringe whenever I hear Clapton's "Cocaine". Why? I'm not sure, it's just so damn annoying.

Excellent topic! Here is the problem with radio:

I love Zeppelin but cannot stand hearing "Stairway", "Dy'er Maker", or "Fool in the Rain". Zeppelin was around for 12 years and put out some 15 albums: I think radio stations could find some other tunes to play.

The same thing goes for the Stones: I HATE hearing "Miss You" or "Beast of Burden" In over 40 years of recording, they can't play ANYTHING else?

I too hate "Cocaine" and am sick of "Baba O'Reilly".

It might have to do with the fact that I am not a fan to begin with but I hate any BIlly Joel or Elton John.

Procol Harum's deeper shade of pale is another I can do without.

First off Rich that shouldnt be considered "Classic Rock" in the first place, its HORRIBLE MUSIC that shoudl continued to be play on the adult contemp stations, not CLASSIC ROCK!
Now one song that pissed me off is Magic Bus by the who, UGH! I hate that awfull song. Another is anything by the beatles! Im sorry but All I hear is a horrible voice in every song no matter what! AWFUL!

Elton John and Billy Joel are classic rock at least their good stuff.

Even though Candle in the wind has been played about a million times to many.

Anything by Journey, REO, and Styx I wish they would all just go away.

I agree with AJ if I here Dyer Maker or Immigrant song I will shoot my radio.

We want Ron and Fez live in DC.

I cant agree more, I used to like Sknard until the radio station I listen to thought its a good idea to play freebird and Sweet home alabama, at least 2 times in 2 hours

I have to agree cocaine is a song that makes me cringe as well. But "Hooked on a feeling" sends my one good eye into a postal type crazed twitching spree.

God help me if I have to listen to Joe Poo bungle up another live spot

I agree. Bill Gates and Microsoft tainted the song.
I also hate the DJ's on Q-104. They talk like idiots, always saying "man" and "cool".

Just about all the classic rock songs I'm sick of. But mostly, The Who's, Won't Get Fooled Again, Queen's Bohemian Rapsody and Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb. Just to name a few. 

The only time I have a drinking problem is when I don't have a drink
