This isnt my rumor but I hear the reason Austin hasn't been on tv lately is he is pissed at the current wwf situation. Apparently Austin doesn't like how the NwO thing is going on while he sinks furhter into the card. Austin doesn't like feuding with the likes of Hall and Nash. n wwf.com all mentions of Scsa have been deleted as well as his profile. If you know anything or think anything let me know.

I'm not saying Austin is leaving, but I also read, at 1wrestling.com, that Austin is very unhappy. And there ARE very few references up about him on WWF.com right now; where as he's usually all over the place.

Seriouly, Austin has lost his edge and has gained weight. Also he doesn't have the dynamite matches he had earlier in his career that made him what he is today. And besides, it wouldn't really matter since the WWF would push someone else into his spotlight to try and compensate for his absence. Need an example, think of when Austin got hit by that car and Rocky's popularity shot through the roof.

I'm sorry, but I'm on Austin's side on this one.

I don't often quote this man, but here's something that Scott Keith said today, and I happen to agree with his line of thinking on this subject:

Stephanie can't just LEAVE, can she? No, she has to book herself in the presumed #1 angle for the past few months, and then lose a World title triple-threat match as though she was an actual piece of talent worthy of giving someone the rub on the way out. Well, fuck her, and fuck the WWF for playing semantic games with their programming while ignoring their #1 draw because they don't want to lose face and admit that signing the nWo was a big mistake. Maybe, just maybe, if they'd listen to Austin and DO SOMETHING about their shitty "creative" team instead of paying Stephanie her thousands of dollars a year to write bad soap opera plots, they wouldn't be in the position where their own stars are rebelling against them. You THINK that might be a bad sign, Vince? Because I know we "smart marks" are just a bunch of annoying whiners who don't know anything about the business, but I'm pretty sure that Austin guy knows a thing or two about it.
