It's the worst..i usually do that when I have soup...it's the worst how that spot in your mouth feels all wrinkly and icky! :( Feel better Gwen! :)

Yeah...I cook for myself, meaning it takes far too long to actually get a full dinner ready, so I just bite into anything that resembles being done. I bit into a roasted potato which, to my shock and dismay, had obtained a temperature of THE CORE OF THE SUN. It instantly melded to the roof of my mouth, causing me to run around my kitchen yelling in pain trying to pry it out. It felt as if someone had replaced the roof of my mouth with sandpaper. So, yes, I hate that.

But it sure is fun to poke with your tongue.
