Ever since they decided to play the story line that dulled them out, which is the whole "Austin got hit by a car mystery" spoof, the WWF lost their touch.
They were always recognised as being the ones to reinvent wrestling, and add more elements to the business that made it more entertaing for the fans. But as of late, their story lines have come up short and turned out as big dissappointments. This is also affecting their big pay-per-view shows.
There once was a time where Wrestlemania was looked at to be the best event in pay-per-view history. Since it would fall around my birthday, I would always try to make an effort to watch it. But now that there isn't much to catch my eye nor attention, I simply ignore the commercials.
The WWF are also not putting out the best they have to offer. To think that they would have on their side the talent of such greats as, "Rob vanDam", "Tijeri:the japanese buzz saw", and "Chris Benoit", but won't use them. We already saw how they gave up on Tazz who kicked ass all over the ring on ECW. And instead of using the most talented, they use the least talented.
Let's be serious, Stone Cold has put on some pounds, and his stunner isn't executed as it well as it has been before.
Yes the WWF still have some good bits here and there every three weeks or so, but they still don't compare with their past. It seems as if Vince and the boys are running out of ideas, and from the things I'm hearing, out of fans as well.

And they thought I was on drugs...
