has anyone ever read the book jonathan livingston seagull, by richard bach. it came out i think in the early 70s and they turned into a movie, with neil diamond doing the soundtrack or something.

READ THIS BOOK!! i just picked it up the other day, and i don't think any book has ever touched me the way that this one has. Its a children story, but its also for adults, and it has a strong grasp of eastern philosophy put in simple, easy to understand terms.

Oh what a wonderful book! It brongs me to tears that i cannot write like this .. . at least not yet

that seagull represents the buddha, and he comes back as the equivilent of the dali lama, or something like that, i get confused cause there are so many different schools of eastern thought, and it gets bastardized by westerners

Sorry, this should read
"compared Jonathon's life to that
of Jesus Christ". My bad.
