Whats goin on with hollywwod lately that the can't come up with any new ideas for movies? It seems like 1 out of 3 movies is either a remake or an old tv show in movie form. Today I heard there gonna make a Fat Albert Movie. What the fuck whens the Punky Brewster Movie coming out? All these people do is take something old and redo it, new ideas please. Hopefully this is a new idea and not a redo of some one elses post which would be ironic.

independent films my friend, the only place to find original ideas in film, i have a new found fondness for them

Yeah like 5 years ago

Now its like onle 4 movies a year are good and get pushed what happen to the days where i coudl go and rent a diffrent no name movie everyweek either blockbust just doesnt get those movies any more or there not gettign looked at cause it to much of a huck a muck now

Bah, teen! lol Indy films seem like the answer until you get tired of the shoddy filmwork in most of them...

Let's face it, the film industry can't make a good movie anymore...gotta make the plot too unreal, or combine too many different elements...how many tear jerker-romantic-war movies do we need period, much less in the same friggin' year?

Last year I saw 2 movies in theatres..."Jurassic Park 3" <can't really go wrong with big dinosaurs, that part never really gets old> and "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back"...twice. I remember going at least twice a month a few years ago...well, 6 or 7 years ago...it's just the continued downswing of the arts.
