Arienette

i am a huge jukebox person, whenever i'm in a bar i head straight there and feed the thing before i start my fun. but the absolute worst thing is when you put your money in, select your songs, and then wait 3 hours for them to come on. there's like no one else in the bar, and you know the person who put these awful songs in has long since left. but there's nothing you can do...
until now. this is what i'm thinking:
1) there should be something on the jukebox that tells you how much time is remaining before your songs will come on. this way, if you know you're only there for an hour or two, and there are another 2 and a half hours woth of songs programmed in, you don't waste your time or money. and with those new digital jukeboxes, that would probably be really easy to have. now i realize that this would cost them money and make poor business sense, but as far as happy consumers, well there you go
2) there should be some kind of number or indicator or something that you get when you put your songs on. when you leave the bar, if you have any songs left, they are canceled. since you're leaving anyway, you couldn't care any less whether the songs get played or not and then the other people left in the bar don't have to listen to your crappy ass music once you go. everyone's happy
now maybe it's unhealthy for me to have thought about this so much and so often, but i really do think that everyone would be happier if we could institute these simple improvements
......................
the moon it leaves silver but never sleep
and then the silver turns to grey
oh, stay with me, arienette, until the wolves are away
