i remember growing up with the Sara Lee Banana cake that you kept in the freezer(i believe, maybe refridgerator) The icing was irresistable and delicious...
Mom made a great Bundt cake too... always preferred the icing and creamy middle but not always necessary...
chocolate with the white icing and creamy middle were a favorite...
:)

I remember coming home from a bender one morning and actually eating a frozen Sara Lee Pound Cake. I bit really hard and cracked off a chunk and just sucked on it like a Popsicle.

Did you ever slice a thick piece of pound cake and fry it with a little butter in a pan and serve with soft vanilla ice cream?

I had it at the Tiffany Diner in Bay Ridge once, a life-changing experience.
