Screw the remote, you should just be able to say what channel you want or tell the tv to turn on.

I also should be able to the the George Foreman grill to cook me a steak. That would be funny if i tell the Foreman grill to cook me up some burgers and George Foreman can over and cooked for me. What else is he doing these days?

Remote controls should flip out of the armrest of the chair or couch. After you change the channel, or set the volume, or whatever, you can flip it back into the arm of the couch.

Either that or it should come down from the ceiling on a cable when you whistle.

Do they still sell those Casio watches with the TV remote in them?
