Today something happened to me that throughout my life has happened way to many times, I got a call from a female friend of mine she just broke up with her boyfriend and now called me. I have not heard from her in months and now she calls. See maybe its just me or maybe both the guys and ladies can answer this one, but how come when you have some friends that are in the opposite sex when they get a boyfreind or girlfriend they stop talking to you completely. For example I get these statements " Well he doesnt want me to have any guy friends so we cant be friends" which in my opinion shows that he is insecure with himself and does not trust her or 2" out of respect for my bf I dont think we should be friends anymore" But the minute they break up with them they come back into your life like nothing happened. has anyone ever had that problem also. and if so can anyone explain to me why that is?

I have NO idea why that is. I don't understand why people do this. I have a lot of male friends. If a guy I am seeing doesn't like it too bad. Take me as I am or take a hike. I give my friends up for no man.

I've had friends like that, some folks are just too insecure in their relationship or been f'd over too many times to trust anyone. I have a gf, and I have female friends. My gf doesn't mind it, but I think she would mind if I saying, "yeah i met this girl the other day and we are going to hang out".

those people are who they are.... the trick is to not be one of them, to hold friends close. to make other loved ones understand how important other people in your life are. too many times in people's lives they lose contact with friends and family. not me.

sexy bastard, in my opinion what your "friend" did was f'ed up. Under no circumstances (unless one has physically mentally or emotionally hurt the other) should one friend drop another, especially not for a significant other. Your friends are one of the most important things in your life, and they are far to precious to just toss around. If I were you, I would have a hard time accepting this "friend" back into my life.

its kinda hard for me not to let them back into my life cause i dont like to hold a grudge but it doessuck and what i alwayas tell them, that is your choice and to rememebr I was here before he or she was in your life and i will be here after he or she is out of your life and that its not right to ruin a friendship over this
that is why i always am here for people and have no prob giving out my number in case they ever need someone to talk to

BUT I do have one or two male
