I gotta go with Homocide. One of consistently best written, best acted shows on television. It never got the acclaim it deserved.

The Family Guy doesn't do that well in the ratings, but i can't see why...

CSI, The Job and Six Feet Under...just a few of the greatest shows on tv right now...The scripts and originality of these shows are truly unparallelled.

ajindc/wwfallon......my fellow 24 watchers that show is the sizzle my nizzles.
the idea is so original and new,and i think that is why it didnt really draw much of a crowd.

Space Ghost C2C and The Critic are/were the two most underrated shows of all time. That and Press Your Luck. NO WHAMMYS STOP!

JerseyRich, I feel CSI is way too popular (top 10 ratings) to be considered under-rated, IMO.
Jobberific, didn't Homicide (despite low ratings) stay on the air for 5 years or so?
cheezeemee, totally agree about Stern's old channel 9 show.
Also agree with the nods to Family Guy and The Critic (via le Quebec!)
I know it has a cult following, but how did My So-Called Life only last one season?
Can't we all just get along?

"Insomniac" with Dave Attell on Comedy Central. How can you not like a show where Attell goes into a S&M club and says "this is the kind of place where if someone were to ask you where the bathroom is, they point at their face"

I agree with 24 and Family Guy.
Warning: The following has a HIGH geek / fanboy quotient.
Farscape! If you're into sci-fi stuff at all, this is the show. It's the best sci-fi show in cable, and IMO, one of the best sci-fi shows on TV today (certainly one of the very best in production). Plus they got hotter alien chicks than on Star Trek.
