I know plenty of us get sad, a few of us are vene
diagnosed depressive. I,myself, have had alot of
major depressive episodes lately and I know alot of
my close friends have (maybe a season change
issue?) but this weekend i discovered soemthing
REALLY REALLY important.

My best friend came up here to visit from back home
in Brooklyn. She stayed here the weeekend- just
left ten mns ago. we talked, i introduced her to
some people I know up here- discussed different
things and old things we love and remember.

what im gettting at with all this is this advice: KEEP
AROUND YOU, PEOPLE WHO ARE A POSITIVE
INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE.

always keep around a true friend. someone who
knows almost everything about you, but who you
can still share fun stories with. compliment
eachother. give advice but get some also. share
experiences and dont dwell on the past but use it
as a helper today- use it to learn from your
mistakes and to look back on good times. This
weekend I learned that there will always be people
who you can hang out with. maybe a few you can
talk to, but there will only be 2 or 3 people in your
life that will always be there and when you find
them, love them because thats the best feeling in
the w

Supervixen,

Thanks for sharing that...
I'm sure it will be very encouraging to people who share similar depressions...

Sounds like your growing into a fine woman...

Good For You!

i totally agree, i had a horrible time lastnight, but having sme of my oldest and dearest friends around made it much easier to tolerate. it's always good to have that one special person friend to talk about shit too. they are always there to talk to about anything, i think that's one of life's greatest gifts

i am totally feeling the love in this thread right now :*)

Best advice I can give: Never touch anything in a public bathroom with your hands.
