If you are looking for that thread, I deleted it. It was doing nobody any good. I was backed up by several mods, but the decision was mine. If you didn't get to read what was in it that was so objectionable, count yourself lucky.

It saddens me that an obvious joke thread turns into that. Let me give you all a word of advice about messageboards:

IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING YOU READ, IGNORE IT.

All the hubbahaloo in that thread came from a spiral of nothingness. One person says something minor, the next person takes it too serious and responds at a notch up of anger, then the other person responds at the next notch up, and then someone comes in out of nowhere to declare personal attacks are being made.

I'm not blaming anyone or even saying the people involved were wrong. It's human nature. IT'S THE NATURE OF A MESSAGEBOARD.

I'm just suggesting you do your best to ignore the behavior of people you don't like or you will get angry and frustrated at nothing. You will then make needless enemies and eventually leave the board and cause yourself useless stress, worry, or pain. Over nothing. IGNORE IT. For your own sake. Life is too short.

I'm not starting this thread to open up a discussion on messageboard policy. If you don't like our policy, IM me (danfromhob) and I'll explain to you why we delete fights and contention. If you don't like the policy, I'm sorry but it's not going anywhere.

This thread is just an effort to clear the air and let you all know what's going on.

I've heard rumors of such behavior. Scientists are studying the phenomena as we speak. They refer to it as "internet humor". Apparently it's very catching, and maybe we should all try it?;)
