To those who watch All My Children, that wording means something that gives you pleasure, something you love and is therefore a great day (won't go into the storyline because I know not many people watch but it involves a son finding out that his father wasn't his and.., and that the guy he dispised took a bullet for him is his real dad). I love using it now in everyday conversation.

For myself here are a few...

-waking up and checking the board for my friends.
-Watching wrestling
-Talking to my girl
-the crisp plum right from the refrigerator in the morning
-the sound a beer can opening
-writing in general
-Ron and Fez live and not on tape delay

What gives you a Blue Sky Day?

waking up on my days off-delivering something i made, repaired or refinished , and seeing how happy or suprised they are, i work free, because i like to,just don't give me a dead-line- and i too the sound of a beer opening..

HAHA! The second I saw this thread I almost pissed myself laughing cause I knew it was an AMC reference. I'm glad you made this into something pleasant, since Ryan Lavery's "Blue Sky Day" originally referred to a day that his dad didn't beat the shit out of him.

I was waiting for you to respond Lisa. I knew you would get a kick out it especially of anyone here. I try to make the situation a pleasant one anyway.

Vanessa should die for trying to kill Maggie, Simone ain't that bad, Leo should get Greenlee although Jake is too good for her, Dixie come back, watch Kendall, Ryan with that king size bed of yours, David burn the computer and Bianca find another girl to fall in love with than her twin sister! LOL
