I have been living alone for about 2 years now. I do have a family but I recently became divorced. I'm finding it harder and harder every day to cope . I was so used to coming home to people in my house and all I have now is a dog and a mailbox full of bills.

Anybody else in the same or similar situation?

I've been living alone for 6 years now and I LOVE it. I can do what I want when I want and don't have to worry about a thing. And I live in an apartment building so if I ever want company I can just go over to a neighbors.

i've been living on my own for about a year now. Prior to that i lived with a psychotic girl for about 9 months and before that i lived with my boyfriend for a year or so. i love being on my own now, but i'm also a loner. i miss having somebody to snuggle up with every night, but if it weren't for my cats, i'd probably be a lot lonelier

I've been living alone for a while now, and I think it's fine. You can be by yourself when you want and you can have people over when you want if you want company.

Reeshy, you're probably so used to the idea of having someone else in the house that you still need a little time to adjust. Meet up with friends, keep busy, and pretty soon it wont bother you...

I live alone, and I love it. Yeah sometimes it gets a little lonely, but for me that seems to be the only drawback. Don't look back, love your kid(s) if you're a Dad, DON'T LOOK BACK. MOVE FORWARD - ALWAYS.

I benn living in my own house for about 3 years and I love it too, my neighbors dont reallyt fuck with me which is cool. the only thing that sucks is cleaning and cooking for myself. It used to piss me off that my ex didn't cook for me or really help me clean my place.

yea It sucks living alone. Its only been about 3 months now. I gotta say though its a bit better living with your folks sometimes. Resshy why dont you look in the personal adds or something, theres tons of women out there!

I live alone, but there's probably good reason for it. I have had a lot of roomates over time. From really nice people, to heroin addicts. But to be honest, I like living alone. The tough thing is, if you live alone long enough, it makes it harder to adapt to living with someone again. You get very used to having things the way you like them. And if that gets changed, it can be a little frustrating. I'm not oppsed to living with someone again, but I think the only way I'd do it, is if it were a girlfriend, instead of a roomate. At least if you get annoyed by little stuff, you can have sex later and forget all about it.

I've been living alone here in Lisbon, Portugal for three months now. I live on the tippy top floor of a building that was built in 1900. My rent the equivalent of 25 bucks. I love living alone but I'd so love to find someone to keep me company. But whatever, I think each situation has its benefits and drawbacks... I enjoy every moment I can.
