For those of you who have met me already know sometimes I just write...so here we go...

Why in life?
Why in Life does our heart get broken? Why must we so many times feel so lonely? We see happy people, we see the love, Yet there is no one here for me to love.
We do not appreciate things until they are gone. For when we have them we thing nothing can go wrong. Our time here is short, I think we all now realize this, and yet we do not take advantage to prevent this lonliness. Someone to talk to and someone to hold, none of us want to go back to an empty home.
When we look for love we only get hurt, for what we think is true may only be a person who flirts. Do not search for love for that is when we find it. and maybe next time I will truly learn to love it.

i suggest drugs. heavy doses of weed, with a monthly dosage of extacy. and throw in shrooms every 3 months or so.

Why is it that people need to be in relationships? As long as you have family and friends who you love and who love you, you're never truly lonely. You don't need a boyfriend/girlfriend or husband/wife to feel love. I think people spend way too much time harping on the fact that they do not have someone. Be grateful for what you do have and stop worrying about what you don't have. Even if you never get married you still have people in your life that love you. No one needs to have a significant other to be whole.

I agree with Ivy. Just because you have a boyfriend/girlfriend or are married, that doesnt mean live is a bowl of cherries. i don't understand why so many people think by getting married, they'll live happily ever after. life doesnt work like that. you can be married or be in a relationship and be just as lonely as somebody who isnt with anybody. as long as you have family and friends who care about you, that's all that matters. boyfriends/girlfriends can come and go. dont push so hard to find somebody to love. as much as you dont want to hear it, that somebody will come along in time. it has to just happen. if you're constantly pushing for it, chances are youll just push that person away. i think self confidence/self esteem has a lot to do with it also. once you truly care about yourself and love yourself, your relationships, friendships or love, will improve.

Okey, it's time for me to ramble on and on about how I sort of disagree on some points.so read at your own risk of boredom.

I sort of agree, but I think that it's way too easy to just say that these people have faults, and that they're wrong for having them, and that they need to change. If having someone in terms of a relationship is something they see as a major need, and if it works for them in terms of seeing their life as being content and happy, then maybe it is right for them.who are we to judge?

It's great to be independent and know that you can survive without a relationship(more power to ya), but it's just that some people aren't like that.whether that's a fault or not in terms of inner strength, maybe it could be classified that way, but a pretty large number of people don't have that "supposed" inner strength, so why should they be penalized as being needy/weak/lonely?

It's easy to just say that someone should be grateful and whatnot, but like most things, it's easier said than done, and people don't change if they've focused on relationships as happiness for most of their life by just saying a few words.And in terms of still having people that love you if you never get married.yes that is true.but it is also a different kind of love. And I think having that marriage type love, if it's right, can fufill things in people's lives that other more normal relationship don't. And not everyone has a lot of people who are even giving them ordinary love.

I agree that marriage/relationships don't equal happiness.but if someone truly believes that they need to be with someone to be happy, that means that in their minds, being single is incredibly lonely. And that's something that I think a lot of people, me included, can relate to. I don't equalize relationships with happiness, but I can understand why many people do. It's a matter of seeing how you are when you're single.if a person is lonely, sad, and feel alone while single, of course they're going to equalize the opposite with the opposite of those emotions.happiness and a feeling of belonging. A lot of people who feel this way are missing something from their life, and it may just be that their family and friends aren't giving them something that person needs.even if they do care about them.

People push cause it's hard to be patient.most people have trouble waiting in line at the DMV, let alone being patient in a finding a relationship.

Self-esteem is definitely a worthy cause and problem that a lot of people have, and it can be focused on for their problems with dependency on relationships.but I think a lot of the other f

see this is why i love to write, so many different views and so many people analyze what is written. I was actually reading my entire book and since i wrote so many of the poems while i traveled all over the united states and wrote each peom in a store, restaurant club bar...ilooked around and saw people and poof somethingjust made me write. I will admit while travelingyou do feel lonely and nothing beats coming home whether you have a family or friends or not. in my situation all my friends have moved away, married, died, divorced, have kids, or in jail. I am the only one left preactially and when i go out i always look at people around me and start writing.. I right now must go cause my pen and paper feel theneed to putsomething else down, hopefully youwill all enjoy it likethe last one i wrote.
