i don't know how to deal with this problem, so i thought i'd put it up for discussion. i am "the guy who girls talk to about there shitty boyfriends". i always get put into that position because i'm also the "nice guy". i always end up being stuck in the friendzone with every girl i'm interested in. it sucks. i'm not posting this for pity. it honestly bothers me. SHIT.

stop complaining. that goes both ways. i've made more male friends that i liked think of me as a little sister than i'd care to admit. all i can tell you is that you need to find a way to change the way that this girl sees you.

Rawker, I've spent my whole life in the same boat. I grew up with three sisters and watching them deal with men's bullshit, the lying, the phoniness, the alterior motives, made me afraid to be the least bit agressive toward women because I was afraid of being dishonest or disrespectful. But I was dishonest by not telling women that I was attracted to them, and that just made me bitter because I never had the relationships I really wanted. Fact is women want to be respected, but they don't want to be treated like a nun, (although some of the women on this board like to wear the outfit with a bullwhip and a can of Cheeze Whiz...Grrrr.)

What was hard for me to learn was that if I didn't want to be thought of as a brother, I can't treat them like a sister. Try to be the same guy you are around your guy friends, (maybe toned down a little - don't give away any of our guy secrets). That will help you relax around them and be more yourself. Then, if you want more than a friendship with a woman/girl/farm animal, tell her. That's what I did and now I get laid more than Al Dukes.

Here's two exercises:
1. Watch the Tao of Steve and stop the tape before he gets to the part where he renounces the Tao. No guy should renounce the Tao before the age of 30.

2. Read and study Crazy Clare's thread "Kinky Sex?". Those ladies can teach you a thing or two, (if you're very, very lucky).

Sooner or later you just have to close your eyes, reach out, and pull their hair.

this so used to be me. stop talking to girls on the phone. that's the first step. either hang out with them just you and her or nothing. once you get on the phone they'll tell you everything and then you're their friend.

if they ask you about guy problems act VERY uninterested. who cares what guys she wants to bang? stop talking about puppy dogs and ice cream, when you start on the friendship tip you end up on the friendship tip. let the girl know that you're money, and that you want to party.

that last stuff is from swingers, i suggest renting that and you will see the difference between someone who is a girl's friend and a guy that she wants. you don't have to turn into a jerk or anything, just play the game right.

if you are a friends to a girl... what do you think is going to happen??? your going to end up friends.

If you don't want to end up "just friends" then make your intenstions clear... I am not say jump out and say how you feel, but at least do some fucking flirting.

The fact that your a "nice guy" doesn't mean shit... cause there are plenty of nice guys out there... the problem is girls are looking for something more than a nice guy... so give them something more

now stop whining like a little bitch, go out and find some girl, and go get your self laid brotha.

(oh and one more thing, don't think every girl that you meet and become friends with should go for you... some will some won't... but you have to at least try to make it happen... and if it doesn't maybe they will hae a friend they can hook you up with)

Your problem sounds familiar. My advice is keep playing the nice guy role and hope that you'll be "talked up" to her single friends.

I have the same problem, or the exact opposite. I
guess i can answer this question by telling you my
point of view.

other times i feel cheap and disgustinng- so having
a friend who lusts after you is a nice mix and i
KNOW its horrible, i know its terrible to say because
that person is probobly feeling hings they know
