I happened to watch a few Batman movies the other day and noticed a trend within the movies, series, and various other superhero stories as well. As smart as some of the Super Villains seem to be, they all lack a decent strategy. It would seem to me if you keep getting your ass kicked in Gotham City you would leave there and try somewhere else. Maybe go to Bismark and start small.......spend some time building up your baddies. Instead people just hang around in Metropolis and have their lunch handed to them everytime they even consider knocking off a bank. Anyone else see what I'm saying?

Supervillains are generally pretty narrowminded with stupid ideas such as "get revenge" or "get bags with dollar signs on them indicating money is held within". So I'm not really surprised that they stay in the one city, especially when you consider the plethora of henchmen at their fingertips...have you ever considered the sheer volume of henchman that the Joker alone has gone through? They must be lining up outside Arkham Asylum waiting for a job like day laborers.
