** THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RONFEZ DOT NET THREAD **

People, as a little heads up, please don't use other people's pictures for sig pics and stuff like that unless you get the OK from them and/or know them quite well.

The main reason I bring this up is because I don't want people getting upset. If the person in the pic finds the pic offensive or doesn't know the person, it could lead to bad things happening.

Example: People IMed me, asking me why I didn't do Olympic pics of them. Reason being: I don't know them and they don't know me, so I didn't want to offend anybody. Everyone I made a pic of I knew and they knew me.

It's just some common sense to avoid people getting pissed off.

Not a mod, just a concerned guy.

If you dont want a picture of you out then dont post pictures of yourself boxing. You can ask someone not to post a picture of you but dont do exactly what you dont want people to do yourself.

Tenbats, you never asked my permission to use my pic in the olympic thread. I know you know me from the board but I really don't like my picture being taken and/or used. I actually spoke about it to people on friday night(after Gaia took my picture 9 times in the same place, in the same pose). But I'm not going to make you take it down because that's just the way of message board life.

The official rule, as stated else where:

No using a picture of someone without their permission in your sig.

There's no rule against posting pics of people from parties and such, but if they ask you to take it down, please take it down.

private citizens (i.e. board members) must give permission before being your sig. public citizens (i.e. celebrities) can be used with impunity.
