Remember in 1986...Over 5 million Americans including President Reagan took part in "Hands Across America," a human chain across the country designed to raise money for the hungry.

No I didn't participate I was in camp at the time, but i do remeber it was a tremendous failure. There where helicopter pics of miles wide gaps.

OMG I know this is mean, but I can recall throwing rocks at the Hands Across America People (my grandfathers house was right next to the main road). Every time there was any kind of walk for charity they would walk down that road, and me and my cousin would throw things at them
