One a great show of the 70's....the other a great show of the 80's
Hawkeye Peirce(Alan Alda) and David Addison (Bruce Willis) were the funniest characters (damn funny) of each show..and seem unmatched by todays programs
Am i wrong or right?

Agree. But I do think both shows overstayed their welcome. The first 5 seasons of MASH are sublime. I'm just a Yankee Doodle Doctor.
Cake or Death? Uh, I'll have the cake please.

MASH was great, but killing off McLean Stevenson and thus causing the creation of
"Hello Larry"..Help! LOL!
I never watched Moonlighting, and never liked Bruce Willis until "Die Hard".

Erin you are right about the characters. I still love to watch MASH. As funnny as show was there was thought behind the humor.
Most of the current comedies have the actors more like goof balls that all of a sudden get a moment of intelligent thought.
I was also a fan of Moonlighting but only for the first two seasons. After that the show lost alot of its motion.
