Im sure like many of you , it sucks to pay rent. Have you ever really wondered what your rent money does? Sometimes I wonder, did I just give them money for a car payment? Am I paying for there phone bill? Your oppinions

In all seriousness, chances are, your rent goes toward their mortgage payment and the upkeep of the apartment.

I own my apartment and am hoping to rent it out someday. Yeah, what I plan on renting this place for will be more than what my mortgage is. Real estate is a pretty safe investment.

I just paid the rent today. It's a tough pill to swallow each month, and this was my 15th month of doing it. Plus I'm currently unemployed, which makes it so much worse.

My apartment building is pretty nice, so I feel like my money is going towards something, but even so the people running the place piss me off. About two months ago I got home and realized I had left my keys at my parents house. Luckily, we had left an extra set of keys at the front desk for such cases. Except, when I went there to get them, the guy couldn't find any keys. the envelope was empty! To this day they don't own up to having lost them. So we had to pay for new locks.

But guess who's not getting a Christmas bonus this year!?

Everytime I pay my mortgage I want to burn down the bank when I see that almost 90% of my payment is interest :( . Yeah like the banks need any more money from me.
