Sorry if i blinded people with my flash. (hey i tried to lower it down)

Last night a few things were certain.
1.Scary movie is a funny movie
2.I suck at the foosball
3,People sat on a toliet named "FBA"
4.It rained like fuck
5.Inky has no love for the Metropolitan Transportion Authority.(subway) But AG and I do. Yet I still got lost!
6.The bar had no fucking skyy blue! Boo!
7.I dont care the reasons why, but ditching a $150 bill is not only disrespectful for the SL, but make the board look bad. I think all of us should chip in and give the hard working waiters the money.
8.The stairs leading to the dungeon look like an accident waiting to happen.
9.I am very claustrophoic when the bar decides to cram it with as many people as possible
10.Calling in sick=always good to do after they put you on overnight every god damn weekend.

That's all i wrote.

ok lets see what did I learn:
hmmm
1. I was shy at first showing up there then opened up,
2.booker T made me laugh
3 walking five blocks to get a taxi for the folks i was splittign the cab so we could go karaokeing was better then getting hit by one on the sixth.
4 I wish thte shot girl would have given me multiple oragasms.
5. showing baby pictures is always fun
6. meeting so many people was fun, and everyone was cool
7. thank you for everyone who went to iggys who gave me inspiration to write all those poems.
8 did not know a poem could be written about a circle or dungarees
9. i learned i liek to blow on balls
10. wish i would have had more time to talk to everyone cause everyone was so friendly.
11. Mandrew giving me his cell phone to call him to take the path was great...but leaving his cellphone at home did not help. (thanks though)
12.and the last thing i learned was walking 32 blocks to get to my hotel gave me inspiration to write like a maniac.

It sounds like a good number of you had a really great time, and I'm sorry I missed it. Rest assured, I'll do everything in my power to make the next gathering.

As far as the petty differences and disagreements that inevitably arise when a large number of people get together, try not to "major in the minors", and keep it off the board as PanterA said.

Oh, and whatever happenned with The Game HHH situation...he has stated he will right any wrongs, and I don't know of too many other people I'd take at their word as much as Brett. He's a first class guy, and I'd trust him with my life.

If you werent sure where the place was then it is easy to see why some got there late...I know I had a hard time getting there that is why I left early from my place...and it was worthwhile to leave early so I got to meet everyone. i had an ok time but i have been sick for the past 2 weeks so getting out to downtown nyc was kinda tough, next time i will try and be more outgoing and wacky (hoohoohoo)
it was cool to finally meet cancer mike, tazz, ag, fig, anna and talking to Jerry's friend (steve right?)
it was also funny that just cause i got a haircut, Ivy didn't even remember who the fuck i was. and i quote "i dont even know you"

My favorite Iggy's karaoke bar doesn't card at the door either until around 10PM (they werent even carding last weekend). But there is a KARAOKE BIAS! lol actually most bars dont card if you get there really early. How about a bigger place next time, where you don't have to hang in a basement room?

I'm still laughing about the pizza too. I'll drive anyone from Jersey to the city, as long as we have somewhere to park. I just took the train this time because I didn't feel the need to drive all the way up there if it was only me. If I get two or so people with me, I can drive, seeing as how I'm on the wagon right now.

Not counting when I went on Friday, the board has been to Iggy's as a group TWICE, not 5 or 6 times. The Cyber Place "Bar Code" SUCKS. We tried it a long time ago, and the 21+ section is on a whole different floor from the 18+ section (you get carded if you try to go to the 21+ section). It didn't work we tried it. This has been discussed like a gillion times before, and it always comes down to meet up in Manhattan, because its central to everyone else. Go to any bar, but if you're underage, go early. The Hard Rock is icky but it works ok for board gatherings. Stop with the Iggy's/karaoke crap, becuase last time we had a board event there, everyone thought it was fun (except for Hosp I guess). The Karaoke bar is a reagular fuckin bar! htat just has karaoke for like 2 hours outta the night. But I digress... some other places in Manhattan to consider

being that i was at both the slaughtered lamb and iggy's (and i refuse to post in the "izzy's" thread) i figured id check in here.
I was under the impression that everyone was moving over to Iggy's so i was upset that i didnt get to chill with the whole group all night. To the people that i did get to meet and to those that i got to see again, you all rock! those that i didnt meet, we have to chill at the next one. thanks guys, always a good time (minus the aftermath drama ;) )

Too bad not enough people live near New Rochelle, I think New Roc City has a Karaoke night there, plus it has an arcade, skating rink, pool hall, bowling alley and batting cages, and comedy club (And the adult bars are isolated from the immature stuff.

Next time screw catching the early train I'm staying till the end, sounds like I missed too much fun. As for plain old bars - what about Doc Holliday's? It does get crowded on weekends, but that's because they have $1.75 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Can life get any better, I think not.

underagers -

There are about 10 places in Times Square where you can get a nice, shiny fake id that will work in most of the bars in manhattan. It makes life a hell of a lot easier. No offense, but the 18+ places in the city are either expensive as hell or they just plain suck

PS - I always have my sisters extra ID in case someone needs an ID to get in

How many underagers are there really? I think only 3 or 4.

I'd try bar9 again. We never have a problem with underagers there from that "other" board.

Also i agree with missy. Get a fake ID! $50 is all you need. I am all for including the "underagers", but those of age should be able to have more freedom to where we drink.

Can anyone suggest other places for fake IDs?

Just get a fake, I had a fake when I was 18. Or ask someone to borrow an ID, you can always work something out. Here's the deal: This underage bar thing has been discussed here a bunch of times before, and it always comes down to the fact that the bars that are 18+ are crappy. If you go to Times Square near the Port Authority, you can get a Maine State Residence Card for $40. I got one when I was 18 and it worked almost everywhere. Then you can go to the bars.

We are never going to be able to pick one place that is going to make everyone happy. And it will be really hard to try to find an all ages place for around 4 people (No matter how cool you are) to hold up 20 people who have no problem. The only place that would leave us are the theme restaurant places and a lot of people already made it clear they don't like those places. Like many people have said before me, you guys should get the IDs and try your luck when we go to the regular bars. Not every event is going to be fair. It's just the way of life.

Of course not. No one expects that. All I ask is that when we get to wherever we plan we all stay together in one place. No offense or bad feelings toward the people that left for Iggy's last week. I just hoped we could have all hung out togther. I barely got to talk to or meet a lot of the people that left cause I got there just as they were leaving. :(
